On-site crisis management facilities are a crucial component in responding to potential problems and minimizing their effects. By working to prevent crises that impact students and the community, and responding quickly and effectively to crises that do arise, Achievement Plus secures a safe, positive environment that ultimately encourages learning and personal growth in a stable, safe environment.
Examples: Mental health services located at each school can assist students during and after a crisis by working through emotional issues and developing coping skills. Additionally, the Family Resource Center can actively aid families who experience a crisis such as a house fire or a death in the family by locating goods and services as well as referring individuals to counseling or legal support.
