West Side Community Health Assessment

A 250-household survey of "vital signs" on Saint Paul's West Side covers health insurance, access to care, chronic health problems, health behaviors, and awareness of health resources. Survey interviewers conducted telephone and in-person interviews in English, Spanish, and Hmong. The survey sample included randomly selected households on low-income blocks throughout the neighborhood.
