Walker’s work mainly consists of cleaning and checking data to ensure data quality and analyzing datasets for various Wilder Research projects. He also programs forms used to ensure quality of data entry. His research interests include quantitative and qualitative data analysis as well as survey and interview design.

Walker joined Wilder Research in 2011, having previously worked in program evaluation and data analysis. He received a bachelor's degree in General Studies from the University of Northern Iowa and a master's degree in Public Policy with a specialty in Policy Analysis from the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.

On his own time, Walker loves to listen to music and dabble in learning how to actually play it.  A lover of basketball, he also follows the perpetually doomed Minnesota Timberwolves.
