Research Associate

Stephanie assists in the coordination, monitoring, and implementation of data collection projects. She also supports other phases of research projects, including preparations of study data, reports, and presentations. Stephanie’s professional interests include P-16 educational access and attainment, policy analysis, and program evaluation.

A native of Minneapolis, Stephanie earned her bachelor’s degree in music and educational studies from Macalester College in 2008 and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in higher education (with a minor in public policy) from the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining Wilder Research, Stephanie worked in the admissions department at Macalester College, coordinating the recruitment of domestic students of color and examining issues of college access and persistence for underrepresented populations. Stephanie also currently serves as the President of the Minnesota Association of Counselors of Color (MnACC), a nonprofit volunteer network dedicated to supporting staff in higher education and making access a reality for Minnesota’s students of color.

Outside of Wilder, you may find Stephanie exploring the many beautiful parks and outdoor spaces around Minnesota or playing, listening to, and/or dancing to music of all kinds.
