Pa Nhia joined Wilder Research in 2015 as a Bilingual Survey Interviewer and became a Research Assistant in 2016. She assists staff in the collection, execution, and analysis of research projects. Her research interests include financial management in immigrant families, breast and cervical cancer screening behaviors of Hmong women, and mental health of Southeast Asian elders.

Pa Nhia has a master’s degree in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
