As a Senior Research Manager Craig oversees a research unit focusing on data-driven projects including the Compass quality of life initiative, which provides information on an array of topics relating to community well-being, and the Sprockets database, in use by providers of out-of-school time activities for children in Saint Paul.

Craig joined Wilder Research in 2001 after working as a program evaluator for Minnesota’s Office of the Legislative Auditor. Prior to that Craig worked as a project director for a survey research center, and in the social services with children, developmentally disabled adults, and people experiencing homelessness.

He has taught university-level seminars on quantitative research methods and homelessness, has spoken at several local and national conferences, and currently serves on the board of the Community Indicators Consortium.

Outside of work Craig enjoys exploring the outdoors with his family, including running and skiing with his dog.
