About Twin Cities Mobile Market

The idea for Twin Cities Mobile Market was developed by program manager Leah (Driscoll) Porter as part of her graduate study work on food access. Startup funding from Colonial Church’s Innové Project and the Latino Economic Development Center allowed Driscoll to expand the concept and purchase equipment. In 2014 Twin Cities Mobile Market became a program of the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation as part of Wilder’s focus to improve community health and well-being.

About the Bus

The Mobile Market is a former Metro Transit bus that has been outfitted with equipment designed to stock and store fresh foods. The Mobile Market operates Tuesday-Saturday and services 18 stops throughout the Twin Cities. Check our map and schedule for more details.
