Programs and Services
All people deserve a chance to reach their full potential. Our programs are here to help those facing barriers they are unable to surmount on their own and to be a resource to the community on issues and solutions. The Wilder Foundation focuses its services in three areas:
Services for Children and Families
Ensuring every child enters school ready to learn and graduates ready to contribute
Providing and increasing access to community mental health services
Assisting new immigrants and refugees to be productive and contributing community members
Developing community-based services to help highly troubled children
Assisting families and children with housing support services
Services for Older Adults and Caregivers
Providing coordinated health and social services
Engaging older adults in community life
Providing family and caregivers effective tools, information and respite
Community, Research and Leadership
Educating, convening and informing policy makers and funders and interested individuals and organizations
Improving systems to serve the vulnerable
Improving the skills of community and nonprofit leaders
