Center for Social Healing

The Center for Social Healing is looking for items that can help make the Center feel like a home for the members who use it. The Center asks that items be new or in excellent condition out of respect for our members.
  • Picnic tables
  • Outdoor yard games
  • Table games (especially games without words, such as pick-up sticks and Jenga )
  • Gardening tools
  • Sewing supplies
  • Karaoke
  • Radio
  • Fishing rods and reels
  • Camping equipment
  • Pots and pans
  • Video gaming system
  • Sconce/standing and table lamps
  • Seasonal holiday decorations
  • Small greenhouse or indoor herb box
  • Southeast Asian cultural artifacts
  • Indoor plants
  • Art supplies
  • Musical instruments, such as drums, sticks, bells and tambourines
  • Outdoor furniture and patio umbrellas
  • Bird feeders
  • Large area rug

Child Development Center

The Child Development Center is always in need of new socks and underwear, and gently used pants (sizes 2T-5). The CDC could also use outdoor toys such as balls, chalk or child-size scooters that could be used on the playground or in the gym.

Adult Day Health Needs

People who attend Wilder’s Adult Day Health program stay busy. Can you help with any of the items on this month’s wish list?

  • Vegetable plants
  • Garden Flowers
  • Nutritional supplements
  • Beads and string for jewelry making
  • Volunteers! Join us for outings, help with the choir on Thursdays at noon, or water and harvest the garden! Please call Grant at 651-280-2504 if you're interested.

Backpack Drive

Wilder conducts an annual backpack drive, Tools for School Success, for children and families served by our programs. Call 651-280-2089 for more information and dates for our Backpack Drive.

Thank You for a Successful Winter Gear Drive!

Wilder clients and families, including some newly arrived in Minnesota, needed a variety of warm clothes this winter. Thank you to everyone who responded! The people we serve received more than 1,000 hats, scarves, gloves and mittens, coats and other winter gear. Thank you for your generosity!
