Barb Zeis, manager of Wilder Foundation’s Adult Day Services, has been named “Director of the Year” by the National Adult Day Services Association (NADSA). Each year NADSA selects one outstanding leader in adult day services from across the nation for this prestigious award. Barb accepted the award at a ceremony during the National Adult Day Services Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina on October 11.
Wilder Foundation’s Adult Day Health program improves the quality of life for individuals and their family members by providing a daily program of social, creative, recreational, health and nutritional services during daytime hours. Within a safe, secure and stimulating environment, participants maintain their independence and dignity, and caregivers enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing their loved one is receiving the appropriate level of care.
“We are proud of Barb for receiving this well-deserved recognition,” says Bobbi Cordano, Vice President, Wilder Programs. “She has demonstrated her commitment to the highest quality care for older adults every day for over 35 years. Her dedication to aging services and her leadership within the adult day program are great benefits to our community.” Learn more about Wilder's Adult Day Health program.
