Job Description:

Kofi Services is recruiting a Mental Health Practitioner working towards MH licensure (supervision towards licensure will be provided) or Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LMFT, LPCC or Master's Level LP) to provide diagnostic assessment and individual & family therapy in a culturally-specific school-based mental health program, serving children, grades K-8. The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with children/youth and their families. We are part of a Rule 29 Clinic; candidates should maintain clinical, billing and other required documentation per agency guidelines. The position involves working as part of a mental health team of providers who work to increase children and families’ sense of hope, resilience and well-being. Full-time, Monday-Friday, some Evenings.

Qualifications:

Licensed Mental Health Practitioner/Professional required - Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or Clinical Counseling. Ability to gather information, assess and plan for client needs, experience working in African-American culture and familiarity with community resources is desirable. Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team, knowledge of tests, child, family and group therapy, competence in client outreach activity. Ability to develop cooperative relationships with schools and experience working with EBD and SED children, youth and adults. Valid driver's license and clean driving record in order to meet Foundation driver requirements to drive clients is also required. People of color are strongly encouraged to apply.
