Caryn focuses on evaluation of early childhood education programs.  She recently rejoined Wilder Research, where she worked on the evaluation of Saint Paul Public Schools' Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative in 2002-03.  Current projects include Project Early Kindergarten, a Saint Paul Public School District program aligning early childhood education with the district's K-12 curriculum.

Caryn holds a master's degree from the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs and a bachelor's in journalism from the University of Minnesota.  Before working at Wilder Research, Caryn worked in research positions at the State of Minnesota and in the private sector.
