The Wilder Child Guidance Clinic’s Family Service Provider (FSP) program is a home-based program accessed by referral from Ramsey County Child Protective Services. The program works with families whose children (birth to 18 years) are at high risk of abuse, neglect and out-of-home placement.

The families receiving FSP often face multiple challenges including chronic poverty, frequent parent-child conflicts, child neglect and abuse, and instances where the child has been removed from the home. The primary goal of FSP is to improve parenting skills and family dynamics so children are safe, well cared for and can remain in the home with their parent(s).
