Spending time with volunteers provides the children with an opportunity to spend time with positive adult role models. Volunteers assist children with homework and program goal work, play games, do arts and crafts, read or watch movies, cook or bake, and a variety of other activities.

WHEN: Generally volunteers come in during the school day, after school into the early evening and weekends.
HOW OFTEN: Our minimum is 1 hour per week, but volunteers range from 1 hour to 40 hours a week depending on their schedules.
WHERE: Our volunteers are mainly at Bush Children's Center and Bush School in the Cathedral Hill area of Saint Paul. Occasionally, our volunteers work at Wilder's Holcomb House and Spencer House residences in the Frogtown area of Saint Paul.
