Wilder Square Hi-Rise, a Thomas-Dale neighborhood landmark, has provided safe, affordable housing for seniors since 1974. Now, 30 of its one- and two-bedroom apartments are available for families.

Wilder Square is a 136-unit, HUD-subsidized apartment community that is located on a quiet site with easy access to transportation, shopping centers, Como Park, and other community resources.


Services and features
A variety of services are available to residents of Wilder Square, including congregate dining, transportation for grocery shopping, laundry rooms on every floor, resident-sponsored social activities, and access to a service coordinator.

Residents may also access additional services through the LINCS (Living Independently with Choices and Services) program. This program offers home health, personal care, and nutrition services.


Measuring success
Wilder Square is evaluated every three years by Wilder Research. The evaluation looks at how residents perceive the quality of the housing environment, the staff, the quality of the services delivered, and the quality of the activities provided.
