Homeless service use in Minnesota
Emergency shelter and transitional housing, federal fiscal year 2009

Housing for those experiencing homelessness was in high demand once again, according to the second annual report on Homeless Service Use in Minnesota. From October 2008 to September 2009 about 12,800 people stayed in emergency shelter and transitional housing programs that collectively provided about 5,900 beds per night throughout the state.
